Tham Than Lot National Park Announced on 12 February 1980 as a national park, it is also called Chaloem Rattanakosin National Park. This 54-square-kilometre park embraces pristine forest, waterfalls, and several caves including include Than Lot Noi Cave and Than Lot Yai Cave, which are accessible through a 2.5-kilometer nature trail along the stream. The two caves are naturally decorated with spectacular stalactites and stalagmites one of which is the worlds tallest stalagmite pillar. The ideal time of the year to visit the caves is from February to April. It is recommended that you request the services of a park ranger as your guide. Outside of the caves are several species of birds and the barking tree frog whose croak sounds very much like a barking puppy.
How to get there
By Car
- Route 1: Start from Tham Than Lot Noi to Tham Than Lot Yai. Tham Than Lot Noi contains stalagmites and stalactites. The creek "Lum Kraphroi" flows inside the cave. After passing through Tham Than Lot Noi, go on foot about 1.5 km. to Namtok Trai Trueng and walk on for 1 km. to Tham Than Lot Yai. The total distance is 2.5 km.
- Route 2: Forest trekking route to Namtok Than Ngoen and Namtok Than Thong, about 1.8 km. long.

Erawan National Park
The national park is 65 kilometers from Kanchanaburi along Route 3199. The park, covering 550-square-kilometers, is the site of the seven-tiered Erawan waterfall, one of Thailands loveliest waterfalls. The second tier has a pool, which is ideal for swimming and is particularly picturesque. However, the most popular activity in the park is trekking. Bungalow accommodations and camping facilities and a daytime food market are available. Shelters and camping are available for tourists in the park.
How to get there
By Car
There are two entrances to the park. On the west, a road comes from Sai Yok National Park. On the south, highway 323 comes from Kanchanaburi. If you are coming from little Sai Yok waterfall, travel about 10 kilometers to the town of Ban Pong Pat and turn left into Highway 3199. The park entrance is about 30 kilometers from this intersection.

To get to Khaoen Sri Nakarin National Park, you will take Route 3199 for 105km. from Kanchanaburi. From there you have 2 options. You can go by land - following the laterite road about 45Km. (1-2 hours), or by water- hire a boat from Khaoen Sri Nakarin Market (Talad in Thai) or Ta Kradan District Market, which takes about 1 hour.

Lamklongngu National Park is fertile forest complex in the Tanaosri Mountain Range. The area has a high diversity of forest habitat and wildlife due to its close proximity to Thung Yai Naresuan Wildlife Sanctuary and Khao Laem and Khaoen Sri Nakarin National Parks. It is an excellent area for recreation and discovering nature. The large, towering limestone mountains are the watershed for Sri Nakarin Dam and cover an area of 600 km2.

- From Kanchanaburi, take Highway no. 323 (Kanchanaburi-Thong Pha Phum) until you reach Phuttho Junction, then turn right and drive for a further 12 kilometres. Tufn right again and keep going for 4 kilometers to Lam Khlong Ngu National Park.
- The park can be reached by boat from the Reservoir of Srinagarindra Dam. The boat can reach Pae Nam Jone Pier at Klong Ngu Canal, then visitors need to walk for 6 kilometers along the cascading canal to Lam Khlong Ngu waterfall and Sao Hin Cave.

The Park was designated on the 27th October 1980 as the 11th National Park of Thailand, with a total area of 500 km2. The park is mountainous, mostly limestone mountain runs on north-south axis. In the past, Sai Yok National Park is an area King Rama 5 used to visit and take a bath in a stream. Later, there was a composer, who composed a song describes the wonderful of Sai Yok Waterfall, the waterfall becoming famous.

Going by train from Thon Buri Railway Station (Bangkok Noi) to Nam Tok Railway Station (Sai Yoke Noi) and rent a small bus for about 34 kilometers on the road Kanchanaburi – Thong Pha Phum then turn left at Km. 81 for another 3 kilometers to the waterfall.

By Bus
From Kanchanaburi use the highway 323 (Kanchanaburi - Thong Pha Phum) to km. 81, then turn left and go for 3 km. To Sai Yok National Park Headquarters. Tourist who come by train, you can got off the train at Sai Yok Noi Railway Station and take a bus to Sai Yok National Park's Headquarters for 34 km.
